Policies


General Policies

Hours

Our standard business hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Other times are available by appointment as necessary and agreed upon with the client.

Payments

We happily accept cash, checks (with proper identification), VISA, MasterCard, American Express and purchase orders from organizations with pre-established accounts. On account terms are net amount due in ten days. Interest will be added to unpaid accounts as indicated on our credit application. Deposits may be required in some cases.

Shipping

Shipments are made from our shop or the manufacturer by UPS ground unless otherwise specified by the client. We will not ship by bus.

Taxes

All sales and rentals are subject to current NC State sales tax unless the client provides us with a current certificate of resale.


Sales Policies

Quotes

All quotes shall remain firm for thirty days from the written date of quote, or for a time period as specified on the quote.

Orders

We prefer written orders, by mail or FAX. But we do enjoy orders of all kinds. For products in our stock, we can usually ship the same day. Feel free to contact us with any special requests.

Returns

If any client of ours is unhappy with a purchase for any reason, they are welcome to return the product(s). A restocking fee of 25% may be incurred. Please contact our office for written authorization to return the products.


Rental Policies

The renter may be required to pay a security deposit on the rental property which will be returned to the renter when the property is returned on time and in good working condition.

The rental period is normally from the time the equipment leaves Stageworks Lighting until the time it is returned.

The renter must insure the rental equipment for full replacement value and provide a certificate showing that this insurance is in force.

The renter assumes all risk in the use and operation of the property and shall be responsible for providing proper safety devices and equipment to safeguard users, operators, and bystanders, in order to comply with all Federal, State and Local laws or regulations, and industry standards.

Accrued rental charges do not apply against any purchase price.

Spare lamps, if requested by the renter, are considered perishable property and must be paid for if not returned in unused condition. Burned out lamps may be returned for credit on Rental Contracts of two weeks or less.

All freight and shipping charges are the sole responsibility of the renter.

Ther renter agrees to credit Stageworks Lighting, Ltd. for supply of Lighting Equipment in all programs and printed matter .
